RFWO DAILY GRACE SHOWERS 19 -05-2020 Don’t Break Your Hedge.

Don’t Break Your Hedge.

Our Foundational Scriptures are taken from I Kings 13:1-9(AMP), “And behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the Lord to Bethel. Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense. 2 The man cried against the altar by the word of the Lord, O altar, altar, thus says the Lord: Behold, a son shall be born to the house of David, Josiah by name; and on you shall he offer the priests of the high places who burn incense on you, and men’s bones shall be burned on you. 3 And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This is the sign which the Lord has spoken: Behold, the altar shall be split and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out. [Fulfilled in II Kings 23:15, 16.] 4 When King Jeroboam heard the words the man of God cried against the altar in Bethel, he thrust out his hand, saying, Lay hold on him! And his hand which he put forth against him dried up, so that he could not draw it to him again. 5 The altar also was split and the ashes poured out from the altar according to the sign which the man of God had given by the word of the Lord. 6 And the king said to the man of God, Entreat now the favor of the Lord your God and pray for me, that my hand may be restored to me. And the man of God entreated the Lord, and the king’s hand was restored and became as it was before. 7 And the king said to the man of God, Come home with me and refresh yourself, and I will give you a reward. 8 And the man of God said to the king, If you give me half your house, I will not go in with you, and I will not eat bread or drink water in this place. 9 For I was commanded by the word of the Lord, You shall eat no bread or drink water or return by the way you came.”

Beloved, your hedge is the *unseen divine protection or covering.* Let me illustrate. Many years ago when I was in Ilorin, a business man testified in our Church then- Rhema Chapel (also known as Power of the Spoken Word) of how he broke his hedge and paid the price. He had withdrawn from his bank, huge amount of money for his business transactions. He did not know there were armed robbers that monitored him. They must have heard of his plans and perhaps how much he was taking along for his business transactions in Lagos. Are you still standing?

Beloved, the die-hard robbers tailed him to Lagos from Ilorin. Can you image the number of states and distance they covered? He was observant to have noticed a car that tailed him all the way to the hotel he checked into in Lagos. The robbers may not have slept in that hotel but they knew the location and began making effort to break the boot of his car that night but could not succeed. The business man prayed all night for his business. Are you still standing?

Beloved, the second day, he went out, yet monitored by the robbers. The same night, he maintained his integrity as a genuine Believer and prayed. Those robbers tried in vain to gain access to money in the boot. It was on the third night after that man had succeeded in his mission to Lagos and was supposed to effect payment on the fourth day that he relaxed. Are you still standing?

Beloved, he stopped being righteous. He drank and mingled with prostitutes hanging around in the hotel on that third night. That was when his *hedge of divine protection* was broken and the robbers succeeded in breaking into the boot of his car and cleared the money. He managed to return to Ilorin with the little money left in his portfolio and his mission failed woefully. Are you still standing?

Beloved, Satan is defiant like our enemies, his children that threaten to exterminate Christians in Nigeria. Therefore, learn to keep your *hedge of divine protection intact*. As per Ecclesiates 10:8(AMP), “He who digs a pit [for others] will fall into it, and whoever breaks through a fence or a [stone] wall, a serpent will bite him.” That business man broke his hedge and snake bit him in consequence. Are you still standing?

Beloved, our FS, illustrate a Prophet that maintained his integrity and his hedge was effective at the moment of trial. The Prophet had received an instruction to go to Bethel and speak againt the Altar that had been defiled. He must not eat nor drink whatever they might offer him. He obeyed all that. His hedge was intact. So when the King moved against the injunction of the Lord, *Touch not my anointed and do my Prophet no harm*(Psalm 105: 15), God instantly invoked His judgment and the King’s hand withered. Are you still standing?

Beloved, in this season, that is how God will instantly visit anyone that wants to kill you. God jealously protects His Own. The king recognised the power of God that struck him and so begged the Prophet for healing. That is how dramatically, things will turn around to favour you. God will humiliate every device your enemies want to use to kill you and they will beg you to lead them Jesus. Meditate on our Memory verse. Are you still standing?

*Prayer points*
1. Thank God for His Word and ask the Holy Spirit to expound it to you.
2. As per Galatians 2:18(AMP), ” For if I [or any others who have taught that the observance of the Law of Moses is not essential to being justified by God should now by word or practice teach or intimate that it is essential to] build up again what I tore down, I prove myself a transgressor.” Ask the Holy Spirit to expose any tendency to rebuild what you had rejected so that you can repent.
3. Plug all that pertain to you into the Strong Tower(Proverbs 18:10).
4. Ask God to strengthen you in the hour of trial.
5. Pray that God will use all elements and creatures in the bushes where our enemies are hiding with their weapons to war against them till they accept Jesus. Yes, Elisha used wild animals to destroy those that humiliated him(II Kings 2:24).

Thank God Who always answers all you pray for in Jesus most favourable name, Amen. *MEMORY VERSE.* “But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. This [peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord [those in whom the ideal Servant of the Lord is reproduced]; this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me [this is that which I impart to them as their justification], says the Lord.”(Isaiah 54:17, AMP). Have a lovely day. RFWO = Rock Foundation World Outreach.
