Ex-Rep member, 2000 supporters dump APGA for APC in Abia

Nnanna Ngwu, a former member of the House of Representatives, has dumped the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA for the governing All Progressives Congress, APC in Abia State.

Ngwu was received alongside thousands of his supporters into the party fold by APC leader and Senate Majority Chief Whip, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu during an event held in Arochukwu Local Government of Abia State.

While handing over the party’s membership card to Ngwu, Senator Kalu, described the latter as an old ally who is tested, trusted and has so much capacity to help the party grow in the Local Government Area.

Meanwhile, a chieftain of All Progressive Congress, APC, Mazi Agodi Okoro who spoke with journalists in Umuahia, maintained that the defection of the former Reps member to APC was a good development, asserting that it would help in securing victory for APC in 2023.
